INTERNATIONAL RACE UCI - CATEGORY XCS S2

PRETORIAN RACE 2018

The PRETORIAN BIKE RACE is an international UCI Race, with the category XCS S2 and will have its 1st edition between the days 16 and 18 of March of 2018.

The 3 Stages of the race will be completed in 3 days, in the interior of the municipality of Vila Pouca de Aguiar, in the region of Trás-os-Montes, in the northeast of Portugal.

It will be about 150 kms of fabulous trails for the practice of btt, with stunning mountain landscapes and much historical patrimony to discover.

The PRETORIAN BIKE RACE 2018 is an event for amateurs and professionals, who will compete solo, as long as they are 18 years or older, made until 31 December 2018.

The event is open to the most varied level of athletes, having a notion that it is necessary for each athlete to take responsibility for their own physical form.

The PRETORIAN BIKE RACE has 9 different categories:

UCI ELITE WOMEN
Women who must have a UCI approved ELITE competition license.

UCI ELITE MEN
Men who must have a UCI approved ELITE competition license.

MASTER 30 WOMEN
Female Riders with national or international sporting license of this category.

MASTER 40 WOMEN
Female Riders with national or international sporting license of this category.

MASTER 30 MASCULINOS
Athletes with national or international sporting license of this category.

MASTER 40 MASCULINOS
Athletes with national or international sporting license of this category.

MASTER 50 MASCULINOS
Athletes with national or international sporting license of this category.

OPEN MASCULINOS
Riders aged 18 or over without a sporting license or a sporting leisure license.

OPEN FEMININAS
Fenale Riders aged 18 or over without a sporting license or a sporting leisure license.

The event is organized by the Mozinho Racing Team, a club with extensive experience in coordinating btt and triathlon events at national and international level, in partnership with Pedras Bikers Team, a local club based in Pedras Salgadas and also counting on the partnership of the Municipality of Vila Pouca de Aguiar, the UCI and the Portuguese Cycling Federation.
